Program Format


Course Descriptions

The Master of Science in Therapeutic Herbalism is delivered in a format to accommodate working professionals or those traveling from a distance. The 36-credit degree is designed to be completed in 19 months of concentrated weekend study (approximately one weekend each month plus a few additional weekends).

A Post-Master’s Certificate in Clinical Herbalism provides an option for those students choosing to further their education as an herbal clinician. This is a 16 credit program to be completed in approximately one year. Further details about this program will be forthcoming.

 

Academic Calendar

January 2013 Track

Year One (January – December 2013) consists of 14 weekends. Weekend class times are either 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Fridays,* and 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

* Friday classes occur in January, February, March, September, October, November and December. Friday classes occur throughout year two. There is a five day away Field Trip in June 2014.
