Where art and healing intersect.

The lobby of Tai Sophia’s building serves as the gallery space which features four exhibitions each year launched in April 2003.  Over the years, the space has been home to paintings, drawings, prints, photography, fabric, and artist-made paper. Each exhibition focuses on some aspect of healing, wellness, or nature. Artworks are generally for sale, with purchases made at the Meeting Point Bookstore.

Tai Sophia’s Art Committee selects artists after a review of their artworks, a one-page proposal, and resume or biography. Those wishing to submit an application for an exhibition should contact John Wilson (ext. 6619) for further details.

The Himmelfarb Gallery honors the Helen M. and Annetta E. Himmelfarb Foundation for its gift of $1 million to the Institute, the largest donation in Tai Sophia’s history. The dedication and naming of the space took place on November 17, 2006.
