The Master of Science in Health Promotion concentration in Health Coaching provides you with an evidence-based, proactive, and relationship-centered skill set to empower individuals to tap into their own inner source of motivation and their bodies’ innate wisdom to restore and maintain health.

Unique to Tai Sophia, this area of concentration emphasizes self-care first in its approach, incorporating this learning in oneself before applying it to others, and the important role of establishing rapport with clients to be a healing presence. This knowledge is combined with an understanding of health and wellness that integrates traditional, complementary, and conventional medicine, that enables you to provide effective, whole-person care.

The coaching courses in this area of concentration are approved by the International Coach Federation (ICF) as 200-hour Approved Coach Specific Training (ACSTH) programs and can lead to ICF coach certification.
