For nearly 40 years, the Natural Care Center teaching clinic at Tai Sophia Institute has provided a highly integrated, team care approach to natural healthcare, currently delivering more than 12,000 treatments and consultations annually.
The experience and training of our healthcare team, which includes licensed or certified professionals and Tai Sophia graduate student interns, assure that clients are evaluated and treated with competence, compassion, and respect. Many of our healthcare professionals also serve as faculty in our academic programs and are in private clinical practice.
Types of Services
We offer services in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Western Herbal Medicine, and Nutrition. Through the movement of the body’s qi (energy) through acupuncture, to the healing properties of herbs, and the power of whole foods, we partner with clients on their journey to achieve and maintain overall health, wellness, and vitality. Team Care
With our team care model, clients receive highly effective, compassionate, and affordable care from Tai Sophia graduate student interns under the supervision of faculty supervisors who are licensed or certified professionals. Many clients experience profound healing related to these treatments and consultations and enjoy being tended by their team.
Private Care
Clients who prefer private (one-to-one) practice services may make an appointment with one of our licensed or certified private care practitioners. All of our private care practitioners are skilled clinicians with strong clinical experience, and many are connected to Tai Sophia’s academic programs as faculty members and/or clinical supervisors.
