This intermediate instructor program prepares students to teach mixed martial arts through integrated systems while continuing to develop their own intermediate-level martial arts skills. Students receive instruction in combining striking, grappling, clinch work, transitions, and controlled live application, with emphasis on understanding how techniques connect and how to teach those connections safely and effectively.
Alongside technical integration, the program emphasizes coaching judgment, class progression, intensity management, student assessment, and risk control in more complex training environments. Graduates are prepared to lead intermediate MMA classes and assume expanded instructional roles within martial arts gyms and training facilities, and the program provides the instructional foundation required for progression into Professional MMA Instruction & Operations. The program consists of 1,056 total hours, with students attending Monday through Thursday, beginning at 1:00 p.m., with daily end times varying, depending on the instructional schedule.
